Farley Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at McCormick (CEI)The Farley Center is facilitating the next generation of interdisciplinary learning here at Northwestern. FCEI is bringing together faculty from a number of schools to develop courses where students experience the entire innovation/business life cycle from ideation to prototyping and business plan development. A partnership between the McCormick School, the Feinberg School of Medicine, the Kellogg Graduate School of Business, and the Law School is launching the first course entitled Medical Innovation. Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences (NUCATS)With the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Roadmap as a catalyst, the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences (NUCATS) Institute launched in 2007. Philip Greenland, MD, senior associate dean for clinical and translational research and Harry W. Dingman Professor of Preventive Medicine, directs the Institute, and William L. Lowe, MD, professor of medicine, serves as deputy director. NUCATS represents a significant collaborative effort involving faculty from six Northwestern schools, as well as four clinical affiliates. iBIO PROPELPROPEL, a problems with buy hidden object games joint partnership of history of all new spongebob games iBIO and the iBIO Institute, is a series of programs aimed at increasing the number of life sciences start-ups in Illinois and boosting the success rates of existing companies. Initial funding for PROPEL came from the generous donations by Abbott, Astellas Pharma US, Baxter International Inc., and Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America. PROPEL and the iBIO Entrepreneurship Center help guide the development of formation-stage and early-stage life sciences companies by providing entrepreneurs with access to specialized resources and expertise. Northwestern Technology Transfer Program (TTP)The Technology Transfer Program, a self-supporting unit, assists faculty, students, and staff in moving academic innovation from the bench to the market. MIT Enterprise ForumThe MIT Enterprise Forum, Inc. builds connections to technology entrepreneurs and to the communities in which they reside. The Enterprise Forum produces a series of educational programs about entrepreneurship through a network of 24 worldwide chapters. Anyone interested in or involved with technology entrepreneurship is welcome to participate and join together to form the Enterprise Forum community. Small Business Opportunity Center
